I decided to wash all my clothes by hand since I back from the last home trip.

That night i spilled out my soup from my new thermos because I didn't check properly that the 2nd compartment only can filled with rice but not soup..haiz..At the result of this..the soup leaked out from the thermos all over to my clothes, barang-barang, bag and then the floor of the coach..haiz

When I reached home, I quickly cleared out the stuff and wanted to wash those clothes with machine and the bag i will wash with hand. However, after I saw 2 roach dating in the machine i choose to depend on my own hand to wash all thingssssssss.

I can wash all that I want but facing another issues now..there is no room to hang all the wet clothes..

Friday afternoon, I went to Raffles Place to get some Msia currency and then proceed to Golden Mile for my coach at 5.30pm. Then I realized that since I joined my current company at yck in May this year, I dont really have time to go down town anymore.

I miss all the small stores and the foodssssssss there...7-11, Cheers, Yumi Yogurt, SunMoon, Mos Burger, Subway, Sakae Suhshi, Soup Spoon, Coffee Club, Bie Fu, Guo Fu, Sore Pagi, Sushi Teh...my favourite currency exchange store, Zion and Acts bookstore at Raffles Place..Haiz..I know I can't the best of everything, furthermore, it is for my own good!!! both my waistline and pocket..haha

My coach passed by the Marina Bay and I got a shock to discover the Singapore Flyer (we call it Eye on Malaysia in Msia), I totally didnt know how long it started to be there..haha..it show how long i didnt went to town and how long I didnt read the papers. :P

New Thermos Lunch Box

Initially I wanted to buy small thermos container that can contain at least 2 mini mooncakes so that I can brought the durian mooncake to KL.

I remembered I saw thermos container selling at Tangs. So I went directly to Tangs and then realized that they only sell in bundle. It is $75 for a set of small thermos container and thermos beverage bottle, but i wanted the small container alone. :( Then I checking on other brand like Tiger or Zojirushi, both the smaller vacuum container are the Lunch Box which will cost me $79. :(( I was pondering....whether I should just get the bundle set, though I don't really need the bottle. Just before I make the decision, something come to my mind that I should go check out at Isetan too..since it is so near by.

Isetan is having private sales..wow..look at the queue..like those stuff inside are all FOC..I must get in too..haha

However, I am not member of Isetan. dotz.

So I went up a lady member that went there alone asking her to bring me in. (very thick skin, but no choice, I must get in sia)..LOL...And finally I found what I want at Isetan @ $49 hiaks!

Yes!!! now I can enjoy not only the hot soup but the hot meal when I am travelling back to Sg :)

Mid Autumn Festival

Mid Autumn night all along is another reunion night at my grandma side. All my aunties and uncles (my mum's brothers and sisters) must go to my grandma's house for dinner together with spouse and kids. It is not a so much of remembrance of the mid autumn or craving of the mooncake..but is the precious time that make all the brothers sister come together for a meal. Sad to say, when brother/sister start to build up own family hardly to have chance to meet each other for meal or good chat...Fortunately my uncles and aunties do treasure this type of reunion dinner very much.

This year, the mid autumn fest falls on Tuesday. If festival falls on weekday, then our reunion dinner normally will be on the preceding weekend. I have bought the coach ticket for the trip and planned to bring back the mini durian mooncakes for my parents to try. However my 2nd sister break the news to me on Monday monring (which is yestrday) that my parents and she will be busy throughout the coming weekend and asked me to change my ticket for the following weekend.

Although I felt that I am being left out for a moment, but on the other hand due to this last minute changes and now I will be attend cell for ML this coming Sunday..haha

Today the actual day of the mid autumn, am feeling a little bit down suddenly, luckily Ereen 很义气的陪我吃晚饭..even she got slight headache..Many thanks to her! We had a heartfelt chat tonight, really enjoy it!..(but not sure whether she awares of that night is actually mid autumn) hehe..

I am being forced to upgrade to Live messenger TODAY!!!!!

I never like live messenger from the day 1 that it lauched, I have tried it for 2 times, once at office pc and another time at home, it slow down both my office pc and laptop's performance whenever there is new incoming messege. It will take at least 8sec to refresh. Before it being refreshed, the whole screen will freeze!! HANG!!!

If the live messenger is so successful, majority of the users will upgrade automatically why must they forced user to do so?

Since it is a free ware..I am not given the choice to stay with version 7.5.

Actually I do have a choice..for not using it at all...lol

YEAH!!! I MADE IT~~~~

I have been continuously arriving in office 10min before work start 8am. Hulaaa~~
Although is only for three days now, I believe it is a good start...hehe

I realize that it is easier for me to get up the in natural air instead of aircon enviroment. So since last night was quite cooling I decide to open the windows widely, let the natural air come in to my room.

I woke up at 6.45am in the morning. Waking up earlier feel so good, everything seems so smooth...when I sat infront of my dressing table to comb my hair, I am really in good mood until I saw 'something' clawing in to the dressing table's corner quickly!!!

(80% confirmed that it is that 'creature')

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 3 (Reuters) - Malaysia is cracking down on shabbily dressed taxi-drivers, fining them for not tucking in their shirts or for wearing shoes of the wrong colour.

Malaysia's lowly paid tax-drivers are supposed to wear white shirts, dark trousers and black shoes, but in reality passengers are happy if they can just persuade them to use the meter.

But the Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board is out to make a fashion statement, the Star newspaper said on Monday, quoting its chairman as saying drivers had to present a professional image.

Taxi-drivers have been fined 100-300 ringgit ($29-$86) -- or up to three days' average wages -- for wearing an off-white shirt or getting behind the wheel without socks, angering the drivers and reducing one of them to tears, the paper added.

"I actually saw a taxi-driver crying over having to pay a fine of 200 ringgit when I was at the (licensing board's) office recently," Abdul Jalil Maarof, president of the Klang Valley Taxi Owners Association, told the Star.

Why cant just do the right thing at right time? Obviously consumers like us dont really care about their uniform as long as the driver is using meter.

I believe many of my buddies in Samsung just love me...keke

Since I tendered my resignation I had put on 2kg due to too many many farewell lunch/dinners that I had during this few weeks. I had Japanese, Western, Chinese or Korean food. Mainly Japanese food as I love japanese food.

Some of them are repeat treaters.. :p

Therefore, some of my colleagues cant even find a slot to eat with me, they have to date me for breakfast..LOL!!!

I feel quite guilty about that..

pathetic pork chop rice..

I always go to parklane not because of the famous wanton noodle, but for the pork chop rice.

The reason that I like the pork chop rice here is the taste of it very similar to those that made by my mum. Somemore, when my mum made the pork chop, she will also made the green vegetable as match. So whenever I miss home I will come to Parklane for Pork Chop rice. However, due to the all the material price raise, the pork chop is getting smaller and smaller.

Singapore's Meteorological Services Division said an earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale struck Padang, Indonesia at about 11.50am.

A second round of tremors was felt in Singapore at around 1.50pm.

The epicentre of the quake was 50 kilometres north-northeast of Padang, on the island of Sumatra in Indonesia and some 430 kilometres south-west of Singapore.

The US Geological Survey said the quake measured 6.3 on the Richter scale, while Indonesian seismologists estimated a lower magnitude of 5.8.

Tremors were felt in many parts of Singapore. Some buildings, like the Concourse at Beach Road, Capital Square and Centennial Tower in the city,
and even Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Clementi, were evacuated.

First Chinese New Year dinner with colleagues this year, complimentary by rich vendor...

10 course meals. The food is not bad, especially the unique shark fin soup - soup & shark fin separate in 2 different bowl.

吃好飽。好滿足~ although the serving time is super slow!!!

After dinner, wanted to rush home due to headache. Then found this this lovely handbag at one of the pushcar at Raffles City Basement...selling @ $16 only!!

Bought it and immediately I feel that my headache gone half way..lol

I went back to KL last weekend. depart from JB after work on Friday night and leaving KL on Sunday afternoon, quite a rush trip actually.

Leng only able to go for movie with me on Sat midnight due to her heavy workload these few weeks. sob~

Luckily my youngest sister is available!! :p

We went to 4 hours karaoke...
released all my stress & recharge, I think this can last for quite some times...keke

And finally went for shopping...
I got 3 pairs of shoes, stock up for contact lens solutions and MOST important i got "EASON" concert ticket for this august. SWEE la~~~~

Looking forward to Augst 26 now~~~~~~~~~~~

Family Trip - Cameron Highland (Part 1)

Our 2nd family trip after many years, if I remember correctly the first trip was 10yrs back and the location was Cameraon Highland as well.

To be exact, this trip is not strictly for our immediate family members only: Kel, Yuen's bf (Feng), Leng's bf (Lee) Lee's family and Leng's friends were invited to join us.

Kel and me arrived at KL on 29Apr, 2am.

29 Apr, afternoon
I was helping my mum to shop and store up for some stocks.
Then we check kohii & shuzai in to pet's hostel for 2 days. Too bad they are not allow to stay in 1 cage (room). They must be terrify when they hear other cat & dog making noise. So poor thing.. :(

Mum start to preparing her 拿手电锅鸡饭since 11pm..yum yum~~

30 Apr
We departed from our house at 4.30am by 4 cars. Kel & I taking Lee's car. Dad & mum taking feng's car. Lee's family in 1 car and finally Leng's friend in their own car. The whole journey is quite smooth, it took us around 5 hours plus to get there. :)

Kel have took few shots during the journey to Cameron.

We arrived at Cameron around 9am++. Unload our stuffs at the resort then enjoy our delicous 电锅鸡饭..keke..

After b/fast, we went to visit the morning market. Tones and tones of flowers...strawberries...fresh fruits & vege

I just came back from Xmas dinner with colleagues. Tired.Maybe because I did a very last minute shopping for my mortal last night.

We are playing the 'angel & mortal' role play again this year. Each of us have to pick 1 name from the rest and that person we pick will be the mortal and we are the angel for tat particular mortal. For the entire month the angel got to take extra care for that mortal and handover the present to that mortal on a specific day then the mortal suppose to guess who is their angel..

We had our gift exchange session in the afternoon in office and I got it wrong again. I thought Tannie was my angel, but the answer is Fernn. This is the 2nd time I got it wrong. :P

Guess what I found in our office letter box this afternoon?

Letter from MOM!!!!!

My hand was trembling and my heartbeat was rising when I opening the envelope and the answer was YES!!! They APPROVED my Employment Pass application! Keke.. I wanted to share the good news with Wendy and Tannie Immediately. Both of them really help me a lot for this. However, Wendy was on half day leave, by the time I went back office she was gone, I called her to inform her about this and she screamed at me for 30 seconds over the phone (people around her might thought that she strike TOTO!) :P Okie..I am one step nearer to PR now..

Lets pray that I can have best Bday present too! hiaks!
